Gilda’s LaughFest: March 5 – 15

Ten days of side-splitting performances and events throughout all of West Michigan will make up the fifth annual LaughFest, but the majority of the action will take place right in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids! West Michigan’s only free, weekend-long jazz festival is ight here in Downtown Grand Rapids! The 4th annual Grand Jazz Fest will be held at Rosa Parks Circle and will feature prominent jazz performers along with up-and-coming artists.

Art Prize: September 23 – October 11

ArtPrize®, Downtown Grand Rapids’ renowned art competition and the largest of its kind in the world, will enjoy its 7th annual run this upcoming fall. This amazing event is free to the public and covers three square miles of Grand Rapids. Plan to spend more than just a day for this one – last year’s competition featured 1,536 entries displayed in 174 venues!
